Trail Blazer Bulletin April 22-25

Dear Trail Blazer Community
Reminder - This is a short week as there will be no school on Friday, April 26th.
Also, please pay special attention to the testing schedule below for changes to our regular bell schedules.
STAAR EOC Information
Lebanon Trail High School will administer the Spring STAAR EOC exams in April. A passing score on all 5 STAAR EOC tests is a graduation requirement in the state of Texas.
The test dates are as follows:
- Tuesday, April 23rd (B day) - Algebra 1
- Wednesday, April 24th (B day) - Biology and US History *
Please do not schedule any appointments on these days so that students are present to test, as needed.
Students will need to bring their fully charged, district-issued Chromebook on test day.
Students will have until 4:25 pm to test, if needed, and will be released at the completion of their exam to follow their class schedule for the day. (Students with CTE classes who have missed the bus by the time they complete the test, will remain in the testing room until their next class unless they have their own transportation.)
2nd period attendance will be taken at 1:16, and 3rd and 4th period will follow.
Lunch will be at 1:20 for those students still testing.
For more information about the STAAR/EOC please go to:

Change to Traditional Lunch
Out of an abundance of caution, to limit student shenanigans and to help accommodate testing logistics we will be switching to Traditional lunch from April 29. Please be sure to plan accordingly, and please encourage your students to continue to make good choices as we wrap up the remainder of the year.

AP Students,
Exams are right around the corner! Please review the exam schedule above for the date and time of your AP exams.
Morning testers must arrive by 7:25am; transportation will NOT be provided, and students who arrive late will NOT be allowed to test.
Afternoon testers must bring lunch to eat at 11:15, as the cafeteria lines will NOT be open at that time.
If you have an afternoon exam and 2nd period at CTEC on the same day, contact Ms. Phillips immediately.
If you are taking AP Seminar and/or AP English Literature, you will be testing on your Chromebook...bring it fully charged, and be ready to enter to your College Board login information!
You can practice for your exams, here.
If you have changed your mind about testing, please not that there are NO exam refunds or cancellations, at this time. You will simply follow your regular class schedule, for the day, in order not to be counted absent.
You will receive an email with details on your testing location 1-2 days prior to each exam.
Please contact Lauren Phillips at PhillipsL@friscoisd.org with questions.
