Classroom Environment Requests for 2020-2021

At this time each year, staff members begin to look forward to the next year by discussing class placements for students. It may seem early; however, many factors are considered before making classroom placement recommendations. It is a big task that requires much time and thought.

To ensure balanced class lists and successful school experiences for all students, factors such as gender, academic performance, student strengths and weaknesses, and peer relations are well thought out. Even teacher traits are considered in the process to attempt to match students and teachers. This year, brings even more factors to consider.

You are welcome to complete the classroom environment form for your child for next school year. Your requests are valued and will be taken into consideration. Due to so many uncertainties for next school year, we are not taking requests for specific teachers, but would like your input on your child's learning environment needs.

All requests are due by Friday June 5th, 2019.

Student Belongings

If you have not been able to pick up your child's personal belongings, please work with your child's classroom teacher to arrange pick-up. We really want all students to have their math journals for at home use.
