Walden CommunityNewsletterSafe, Responsible, Respectful, Resilient

May 10th, 2023

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how much I appreciate all the faculty and staff here at Walden School. The students and community are beyond blessed to have such a devoted, caring, knowledgeable group of individuals helping to guide their growth and development. Thank you to each and every person that works at Walden School, and thank you to all the parents, guardians and community members who help support their work and show your appreciation and collaboration each and every day!

Students Green Up Walden Students Green Up Walden

Last Friday was a great afternoon as our students from PreK through 8th grade all headed outside and around Walden to help clean up the streets! Students were then treated to ice cream from the Walden Town Clerk, Debbie Messier, who came to collaborate with the school and provide us with not only a treat but the green trash bags and a special message about the importance of community!

Sneakers for PE Sneakers for PE

Just a reminder that PE days are Mondays and Thursdays for all students at Walden School. We have a very limited supply of spare sneakers for students to borrow. Please help to ensure that PE is a safe and enjoyable time for all students by reminding your child(ren) to wear or pack sneakers on PE days. If you have any old sneakers hanging around that no longer fit, consider donating to Walden's supply.

Thank you , Nurse Molly and Ms. Vincent
