Congratulations to our Lady Falcons on their Sectional Championship victory last night over Southern Boone in 3 straight sets! Way to go, ladies!

The Falcons will now HOST the MSHSAA Quarterfinals TOMORROW (10/31) as they take on St. Francis Borgia at 1:00pm! Let's pack the stands and show our Falcons some support!

VETERAN'S DAY CEREMONY

The Blair Oaks R-II School District will be having its annual Veteran's Day ceremony on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 8:30am in the high school gymnasium. The District takes great pride in this event and looks forward to honoring all those who have served or are serving our country. This celebration is open to the public.

As in the past, we will have a PowerPoint providing a continuous scroll of names of those service men and women who live in our district, who are from our district, who are a relative of a staff member or who are a district patron. Those being honored include those who are deceased.

This year, we are asking everyone to fill out this form in order to have your Veteran honored on the PowerPoint during the assembly. Names must be submitted by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to be included in the presentation.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL VETERAN YOU WOULD LIKE HONORED DURING THE CEREMONY!

BREAKFAST:

Breakfast will be served for our veterans and their families in the high school cafeteria at 7:45am. There is no charge for the breakfast. To make a breakfast reservation, please click the link below. RSVP's should be submitted by the end of the day of November 1, 2026

As a reminder, every family with a a student athlete must sign up for at least two shifts per child, per sport. When you sign up, please remember to include your child’s name and sport in the comments so we can track participation accurately.

Juniors and seniors interested in health-care careers are invited to attend

MU Health Care’s Tomorrow’s Health Care Experts Expo on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Students will explore a wide range of health-care careers through hands-on activities and conversations with professionals in the field. Lunch will be provided.

Permission slips are available in Google Classroom and outside Mrs. Bohl’s office.

Completed permission slips are due Friday, October 30.

Troy has gone above and beyond by sponsoring FOUR WEEKS of Sonic Days for our staff! We are so grateful for his generosity and for helping us feel appreciated throughout the school year.

Blair Oaks seniors and families: The FAFSA opens October 1, 2026!

The FAFSA helps determine eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and student loans for college, technical school, and other eligible training programs.

Before October 1:

• The student should create a StudentAid.gov account.
• Each required parent or contributor should create a separate account.
• Use personal email addresses—not a student’s Blair Oaks email.

Completing the FAFSA does not commit a student to a school or require your family to accept loans. It simply keeps financial-aid opportunities available while your student makes plans for life after graduation.

Dear Community Members!

We are reaching out to ask for your support in showing appreciation for our amazing High School staff! We would love to treat our staff members to their favorite Sonic drink as a small “thank you” for their hard work and dedication to our students.

We are seeking sponsorships to cover the cost of these drinks. A donation of $75 will cover the cost for each staff member to receive a drink. However, if you're not able to fully fund a Sonic day, any contribution you'd like to make—big or small—will help us reach our goal.
