END OF YEAR NEWSLETTER

We are nearing the end of the 2025/2026 school year! Please read through this newsletter regarding information about end of year tasks and summer programs! There is a lot of information in this newsletter, please read through carefully.
GRADUATION
Graduation ceremonies will take place on May 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Family members, friends, and community members are invited to attend and celebrate this special occasion. Seniors are asked to arrive no later than 1:30 p.m. to ensure everything runs smoothly.
FINALS
Final exams will be held on Tuesday, May 19, and Wednesday, May 20. It is essential that all students are present on both days, as exams will be administered during scheduled class times and there is very limited opportunity to make up missed finals.
If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to arrange a makeup as soon as possible. However, due to the tight schedule at the end of the school year, makeup times are not guaranteed. Any final exam that is not completed will result in a score of zero.
Please plan accordingly and make every effort to attend on both days.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CHECKOUT
Students will complete their checkout forms prior to leaving on Wednesday. In order to be eligible for early dismissal, students must have all checkout requirements completed. This includes paying any outstanding balances, returning all school materials, and obtaining signatures from each of their teachers/coaches.
Once all items are completed and verified, students may leave early with parent/guardian approval. Parents are encouraged to call the school prior to Wednesday to provide permission for their student to leave early.
Please note that school buses will run on their regular 1:30 PM schedule, and students who do not have early dismissal approval will remain at school until that time.
SUMMER SCHOOL
The middle and high school summer program is designed as a credit recovery opportunity for students who have not successfully completed required coursework. Any student who fails a required class will be expected to attend summer school.
Families will be notified during the week following the last day of school once grades have been finalized. This ensures that all academic records are accurate before placement decisions are made.
Please be aware that not all courses are offered through the summer credit recovery program. In some cases, students may need to repeat a course during the regular school year if it is not available during the summer session.
Transportation will be provided to and from Fremont for students who need it. If your student requires transportation, please contact the school office at 402-628-2080 to make arrangements.
Program Details:
- Dates: June 1 – June 25 (No classes on Fridays)
- Time: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Lunch: Served from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
If you have any questions regarding the summer credit recovery program, please reach out to the office.
2026/2027 COURSE REGISTRATION
High School students will participate in course registration for the 2026–2027 school year during their homeroom periods from May 4 through May 7. During this time, staff will assist students in selecting courses and planning their schedules for the upcoming year.
Incoming freshmen (current 8th grade students) will attend a separate registration night on May 12 from 5:00–7:00 PM. This event is designed to provide additional support as students transition into high school. Families are asked to sign up for a time slot using the provided link to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process: Freshmen Registration Sign-Up
Middle school students (current 6th and 7th graders) will also complete their course registration during the school day with guidance from staff. Copies of middle school schedules will be sent home in June for families to review and request changes.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your student’s schedule or course selections, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. We are happy to assist you.
