Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
No joke, the Ides of March are already in the rearview mirror, which means summer vacation is less than two months away. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Julius Caesar! Hendrickson’s One Act Play advanced through the Bi-District Round (1st Place) and is headed to the Area Round in two weeks.
Our girls soccer team ended their playoff run in the Regional Semi Finals, another great season by Coach McKinley. Hawks are aiming for another UIL District Academic title this weekend, our boys powerlifting team is headed to state, girls golf is heading to regionals and the Winter Guard is competing in the state area contest.
There is so much to celebrate, and while the year will be over before we know it, let’s take every opportunity to continue adding to the Hendrickson legacy. One more incredible piece of HHS news: three of our students have been accepted into Ivy League schools, an achievement we believe is a first for our campus.
We are building something special here. Go Hawks!

PFISD District Optimization
Subject: District Optimization Update & Community Meeting Resources
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you to those who attended our recent Community Meetings before Spring Break. We appreciate your time, engagement, and thoughtful input.
If you were unable to attend, the district has posted presentation videos in multiple languages, along with additional information, on the District Optimization webpage: https://www.pfisd.net/about-us/district-optimization. You will also find an FAQ on the webpage that is regularly updated based on community questions and feedback.
Thank you to everyone who has already shared feedback on the scenarios. If you have not yet participated, we encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your thoughts on all scenarios—not just those that may directly impact your family: https://tejoin.com/participate/336499412.
Your feedback is essential as we work toward a district-wide solution to a district-wide challenge.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Michael Grebb
