Peterborough Elementary School

This week, third graders took a field trip to Pack Monadnock to look for hawks, and they had a beautiful day for it! During our all-school meeting, we shared our PAW posters and discussed the number of acts of kindness each class demonstrated. We also talked about safety and what it looks like in our school. Students read a poem about safety, and Mrs. LaRoche and Mrs. Swasey demonstrated what safety DOES NOT look like! Throughout the week, we will be handing out stickers to students when we see them practicing safe behaviors, as part of our focus on our school motto: "Keep it on your mind, Be Respectful, Safe, and Kind."

Don’t forget that we have a busy week ahead! Tuesday is Picture Day, and Wednesday is our Title 1 Annual Family meeting and Open House. I hope to see you there!

September 24 - School Pictures

September 25- Annual Title 1 meeting 5:00- 5:30 and Open House 5:30-6:30

October 14- No School, PD Day

Our annual Title 1 meeting will be on 9/25 from 5:00-5:30. We will review our Title I program, policies/guidelines and family engagement for supporting student learning. There will be childcare provided during this time! Please let us know if you are coming by signing up on this form.

Please use Pick Up Patrol to communicate your child's absences and dismissal changes. If you have a last minute change and it is after 3:15, we ask that you wait in our parent pick up line, the office gets very busy at the end of the day and it can be difficult to respond to last minute dismissals, thank you for your understanding!

Reminders:

• You can drop off your student in the loop in the front of the school AND on the side of the building as you are driving up

• Please do not park in the first row of the parking lot during dismissal time, this blocks the road and doesn't allow for busses to get through the line.
• Preschool Drop off starts at 8:45, this allows for busses to get through without getting blocked, please do not drop off prior to this time!
