Explorer Wednesday Briefing

Message from the Principal
Dear Chloe Clark Families,
We love our students—and we love when YOU join in the fun! Volunteers play a vital role in creating a vibrant school community, and we’d love to have you involved. If you haven’t already, please be sure to complete the district’s volunteer clearance process so you can take part in school events.
Join Us for Our First PTA Recess Takeover – This Friday!
Come out during each lunch recess to play and connect with students! Lead a soccer game, organize a tug-of-war, shoot some hoops, or simply share in the laughter and fun. Our students absolutely light up when parents and caregivers are on the playground. After recess, feel free to bring a brown-bag lunch and enjoy a meal with your student!
With fall weather looking beautiful in the coming days, it’s a perfect time to get outside and spend time together as a family. Thank you for the opportunity to teach, learn, and grow with your children each day—they truly make our school shine!
Warmly,
Loretta Duncan

Counselor's Corner
Dear Chloe Clark Families,
We’re excited to invite all students to a special “Fun Lunch” with our School Counselor and Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC)! This is a casual and friendly opportunity for groups of 10-12 students to get to know us better while enjoying lunch together.
Students will have a chance to participate during their regular lunch period. 2nd and 3rd grade will be coming over the next 10 weeks and 1st and Kindergarten will have an opportunity to come in the Spring. We’re looking forward to connecting with them!
Warmly,
Kyra Miller

Dolly Parton Imagination Library
Dear Families,
We are proud to partner again this year with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that provides free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five. Each month, enrolled children receive a new book in the mail, fostering a love of reading and supporting early literacy development.
To help us better understand the program’s reach and how we can support it, we kindly ask you to complete this short survey. We would like to have all responses submitted by October 1, 2025. Your participation will help ensure that more families in our community have access to this incredible resource.
Thank you for your time and support in promoting early literacy for all children!
