Five Good Things in Spring
October 18, 2026

Itβs fall yβall! Jenkins Elementary School brought the fall fun with a festive celebration for students and families! From creative Halloween costumes to games, activities and trunk-or-treating, there were plenty of smiles and sweet treats to go around.
More than just a fun-filled event, it was a great opportunity to bring the school community together and strengthen the connections that make Jenkins special. Talk about a spook-tacular way to celebrate!
Hard work deserves a spotlight! Across the district students were celebrated for their outstanding attendance, academic excellence, honor roll achievements and commitment to doing their absolute best.
Students at Booker Elementary School and Cooper Elementary School were all smiles as they received certificates recognizing their hard work and accomplishments throughout the fall semester.
Congratulations to all the Spring ISD students for all their hard work!
Our Spring ISD Communications team is passionate about telling the incredible stories of our students, educators and staff, and this time, our storytelling earned the statewide spotlight! Coverage of Spring ISDβs Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Recognition Ceremony was featured in the November edition of the Texas Education Agencyβs (TEA) TIA newsletter, reaching educators and school leaders across the state!
What a proud moment for our district and a wonderful opportunity to showcase the outstanding educators who make Spring ISD shine!
Spring ISD swim teams are diving into a new season this school year. The Communications team caught up with the Spring High School Lions and Dekaney High School Wildcats for Media Day, where the young athletes gave a sneak peek of what fans and supporters can expect to see this season.
The Lions and Wildcats are on the prowl and ready to take on the competition π. The best of luck to both teams as they prepare to make a splash this season!
