PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Perfect Attendance Celebrations
Regular school attendance is essential to your child's academic success and overall growth. Every school day provides valuable opportunities for students to learn, build relationships, and develop important skills.
We encourage all families to make school attendance a priority by ensuring students arrive at school on time and are present every day unless they are ill or have an excused absence.
Every Day Counts! When students are at school, they are learning, growing, and making progress toward their goals. Even missing a few days can add up and make it more difficult for students to keep up with classroom instruction.
Thank you for partnering with us to make sure our Needham Knights are here, ready to learn, and prepared for success!

PBIS CORNER
AVID CORNER
Needham Knights, this month we are focusing on INQUIRY!
Inquiry encourages students to be curious, ask questions, and think deeply about their learning.
This month, encourage students to:
- Ask questions before, during, and after learning
- Look for evidence and information
- Explain their thinking
- Wonder, investigate, and make connections
- Ask students: “What makes you curious about this?”
AVID Challenge: Replace one teacher-directed question with a question that requires students to explain, justify, or wonder.
Great learners are great question-askers!
