UES Partners in Education (UES PIE) News
UES Partners in Education (UES PIE), formally known as UES Caregivers Alliance (UESCA), is a collective of caregivers who support a welcoming, inclusive UES community. If you are a caregiver of a UES student, you are a UES PIE member! We provide support for all caregivers, educators, staff, and family-centered school activities. You can access materials and notes on our webpage, here. Most of our coordinating activities are done through our Slack channel, which is open to all. This year, we will periodically meet in person to coordinate specific events and activities. Have a question or need? Have an idea you want to share? Email us at treasurer@mrpspie.org
Field Day Treats!
Field Day is coming up on June 5th and UES PIE would like to provide each UES student with a sweet and cold treat to mark the occasion! We need parent volunteers to help hand out these treats. If you would like to sign up for a half hour shift handing out popsicles please click here.
Welcoming New Families to UES!
Thank you to those of you who have already offered to be a Buddy Family to an incoming RVS family! We will need more families to volunteer to meet our goal of matching all RVS families who would like one with a buddy family who has a child entering the same grade. If your family is interested in learning more about being a buddy family please email Caitlin Drechsler at treasurer@mrpspie.org for more information. Thank you!
