Weekly Update
April 25, 2025

Parents,
We have heard from some of you that you were not able to access the Buzz Book we sent home earlier in the year. We have attached that below in case you need it now or over the summer.
We are also keeping our parental input form for student placement in this email. We ask that if you plan on submitting your thoughts, you do so by the end of next week. After that, we will be closing that Google Form form and beginning our placement process. As always, this is an optional form for you to fill out; it is not necessary if you have nothing to share.
Have a great weekend.
Katie & Chris

Field Day
Field Day will be May 23rd. Please see below for basic information. More information will be sent home as the date approaches.
Focus on Character
Encouragement
Children often become frustrated when something doesn't go their way. As adults, it is important that we work to model encouragement so our children can encourage others. To help our students learn to encourage others, we need to show them how to do it as we encourage them. Some things you can do to encourage your child are included below. Focus on Effort and Process, Not Just Outcomes: Use Positive Reinforcement: Provide verbal praise: Use encouraging words and phrases like "You're doing great!", "I'm proud of you!", or "That's a fantastic idea!". Offer positive attention: Spend quality time with your child, listen actively, and show genuine interest in their interests and activities. Model Encouraging Behavior:
