STUDENTS RETURN MONDAY, JANUARY 6TH
Principal Welcome Message
Hopkins Families,
Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed some time with family and loved ones over the break! Semester 2 starts on January 6th, so be sure to have your children get ready with reestablishing morning routines so they can make it to the bus stop or car lane in time by 8:15am. We want ALL of our Patriots to be at school every day and all day! Every minute matters and our teachers and staff are ready to engage your children in high levels of learning and fun activities! Let this semester be the best second half yet at the HOP! See you soon!
Sincerely,
Dr. Gabriel Zaragoza
Principal

YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR LOCAL SCHOOL COUNCIL MEETING!
Local School Council
- The A+ Education Reform Act of 2000 established school councils in Georgia to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation to achieve the following: solve difficult education problems, improve academic achievement, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents into the school-based decision-making process. In short, School Councils provide advice, recommendations, and assistance to principals and local boards of education. Hopkins Elementary School council meets four times a year (September, November, January, and March).
- If you are interested in joining the Hopkins School Council for the 2024 - 2025 school year, contact Noelle Gardner, Administrative Assistant, at noelle.gardner@gcpsk12.org.
