Fundraiser Update!

We have until June 7th for our Fundraiser! We have almost met our goal of $17,000. We are at $15,200. If we reach our goal all classrooms will get to look forward to having a pizza party and extra recess next school year. Here is an Oprah Winfrey quote for inspiration: “I don’t think you ever stop giving. I really don’t. I think it’s an on-going process. And it’s not just about being able to write a check. It’s being able to touch somebody’s life.”

Thank you to our dynamic Physical Education teacher Cori Aronow and the parent volunteers who made the Fun Run and Field Day so much fun for our students!

Classroom Celebrations and Clean Ups

We’ve had lots of celebrations in classrooms as well as cleaning. It was wonderful to see the students polishing and dusting their Montessori classrooms this week. Dr. Montessori observed that children benefit greatly from caring for their environments.

Gratitude to YOU

I’d like to extend my appreciation to each and every one of our families that contributes to supporting our students’ success. A special shout out goes out to the members of our PTSA and our PTSA leadership for all you do to contribute to our school! Parent and family volunteers, we truly appreciate the time you have dedicated to making our school the best it can be, from reading with our Children’s House students, to our Room Parents who support our classrooms in so many ways, to our Battle of the Books and Lego Club advisors, to our NCI chaperones, and more. Families, your support makes a huge difference in what we can accomplish!

We will once again have the opportunity to order popcorn on Tuesday's. The price is $.75 per bag. Students order it on Tuesday morning and the Next Steps crew make the popcorn and deliver it same day. So yummy!
