Message from Mr. Green, Supervisor of Technology Services in the Crestwood School District---
All calls made to the Crestwood School District must be placed using 10 digits – including both the "313" Area Code and the 7-digit phone number!
All Parents/Guardians you must now use our complete 10-digit numbers when calling. If only the 7-digit number is dialed, the call may not be completed, or may give a false "Busy Signal".
This change is due to the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) adding the new 679 area code, as the 313 area code has run out of numbers.

It is important that your child is prepared with recess gear to match the weather as we go outside for recess twice a day as temperatures permit.
Closed shoes or boots are required to play on the grass or playground.
Labeling your child’s gear with first and last names can help us return any lost items.

I hope everyone is doing well! 💛 We had a bit of a challenging pick-up lately at Hillcrest, so I’d like to remind everyone of a few important guidelines to help keep things safe and smooth for all families:
🚫 Please do not park or drive on the opposite side of Vernon during pick-up.
♿ Handicap spaces are reserved for vehicles with valid handicap permits only.
🏠 Please avoid blocking driveways or parking in front of homes on Vernon.
Your cooperation helps keep our community safe and respectful 🙏. Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
Speech Services Update
We want to reassure families that if your child currently receives speech services at our school, those services will continue without interruption. While there is a staff change happening within our team, student support remains a priority, and services will be maintained through the district. Please note that details about staff transitions are confidential, and we appreciate your understanding.
