Community Service Day – Saturday, September 20
We’re proud to be hosting a Community Clean-Up Day at Altamont Creek as part of the citywide Community Service Day. Families and students are encouraged to sign up and help us beautify our campus.

Fund Run – Wednesday, September 24
Get ready for our biggest PTA fundraiser of the year—the Fund Run! This fun-filled event helps support field trips, assemblies, and enrichment opportunities for all Wildcats. Please see the flyer for more information about how you can get involved.

Positive Parenting Series

Please join us! The LAST session is NEXT Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 2:30 in the library.

Livermore Learns, our amazing social workers, Irene Covarrubias and Erika Dittmore, and Triple P Positive Parenting are excited to offer a 3-part in-person series designed to provide you with the tools and strategies to help build strong, healthy relationships with your children, manage their behavior, and feel less stressed!

In the third and final presentation, "Raising Resilient Children," you'll gain the tools and insights to help your child navigate life's challenges. This session will teach you how to help them understand and manage their emotions, develop effective coping skills, and build the inner strength they need to bounce back from life's inevitable setbacks.

Protect Your Student's Chromebook for as low as $22 with School Device Coverage! Last Day to Purchase is 10/31/25! Chromebook replacement prices increased to $399
Our District has partnered with School Device Coverage to offer parents optional, affordable insurance coverage for 1st through 12th-grade students’ LVJUSD-issued Chromebooks. (TK and Kindergarten students use a class set of Chromebooks when needed and are not issued individual devices. This coverage does not apply to students in TK or Kindergarten.)
Replacement costs without insurance can be as costly as $399 per device. School Device Coverage offers two policies, Basic and Expanded. See below for details on what is covered by each of the plans.

Optional coverage can be through October 31, 2025, to insure your student’s Chromebook through July 31, 2026. (Coverage of device begins after the purchase of a policy has been processed and MUST be purchased before any damage occurs.) Policies can be purchased online at https://schooldevicecoverage.com/signup or by completing the attached form and mailing a check to the address provided. Contact School Device Coverage directly at 1(888) 978-3515 with any questions.
School Device Coverage offers a simple, online claims process in the event that damage to an insured Chromebook occurs.

Lunch Bunch-Volunteer at School!

As we transition into a new school year, we need "all hands on deck," especially while we establish lunch time routines.

Altamont Creek Elementary is looking for several adult volunteers to become part of our Lunch Bunch. These volunteers will help assist and supervise students during their lunch break. Please sign up for as few or as many time slots as you are able. We appreciate all the help!
