At our last Early Cildhood Collaborative meeting those in attendance decided we needed more dates to share information. Please keep the dates that are already scheduled (February 25, 2025 and May 27, 2025) and add January 14, 2025 and April 8, 2025. I will update your calendar invites for these meetings after this newletter is posted.

There are nine school districts in SST Region 16 that have been selected to complete Presshool IDEA Tier 2 : Self Review Monitoring. Those notices went to the superintendent of those districts on December 12, 2025. All districts are encouraged to use the Preschool IDEA Monitoring Questions to guide continuous improvement in policies and procedure to embed age appropriate, developmentally critical practices system wide and ensure positive outcomes for children with disabilities in preschool.

Training is limited to 50 participants. Register as soon as possible.

Preschool Teams from Gallia County Local Schools and Gallipolis City Schools completed their Second Year of training in the Autism Training Series with OCALI Regional Autism Consultant and the SST 16 ELSR and ECMH Consultants. The last training they attended was Emphasizing the Importance of Structured Teaching. Here are pictures of the creative task boxes they made to use during structured teaching within their classrooms.
