Week 5 - Family
Summer 2025
September 8, 2025
Hello, Mustang Families!!! Fayetteville Public Schools participates with an organization called Capturing Kids Hearts. Capturing Kids' Hearts (CKH) is a relationship-driven educational framework and training program for K-12 schools that builds positive campus cultures by focusing on social-emotional well-being, student connectedness, and teacher retention. The program provides training, a character-based curriculum, and coaching for educators to foster environments where students feel safe, respected, and cared for, leading to increased academic achievement, improved attendance, and reduced disciplinary issues. You can see evidence of this with our Social Contracts, Good Things, and teachers greeting students at the door. Another part of this is our monthly CKH Lessons and Newsletters. The September newsletters (available in English and Spanish) can be found below:
We will continue with ATLAS Interim Assessments (in class) this week as well:
September 9 - ELA Reading
September 10 - Writing
