On behalf of the Stissing Mountain Jr./Sr. High School staff, faculty and administration, we would like to welcome all of our returning students, as well as, those students who are new to the district and, the incoming Class of 2033. The start of a new school year is always an exciting time of the year. Our summer staff have been working diligently to ready the building and we are confident that the 2026/2027 will be filled with opportunity and growth.

Just a friendly reminder to complete all forms that were mailed home in July and return them to the Main Office as soon as possible. All students should have received their scheduled via SchoolTool. As a reminder there is a new URL to access SchoolTool.

πŸ“± Cell Phone Policy Reminder πŸ“± Cell Phone Policy Reminder

  • As many of you are aware, New York State has passed a mandated ban on all personal internet enabled devices (cell phones, smart watches, tablets, etc.) throughout the school day from 7:30am to 2:15pm here at Stissing Mountain. The last few years we have had a policy of no cell phones in the classrooms or hallways, but students were able to use them during the lunch periods and between classes. With this new law students will not be able to access their phones throughout the day and they will need to be locked up in their locker for the entire day. We understand that this will be a big shift for students and for parents, but we would appreciate your support in creating an environment that is conducive to supporting student learning. Parents wishing to contact their student should call the main office 518-398-7181 ext. 1300 in order to do so.
