Course selection for next year begins next week for our current 6th and 7th graders. Our counselors will be visiting classrooms to introduce new courses and elective options, helping students explore their interests. Please take a moment to discuss course choices with your student. Jones students have done an outstanding job embracing Minga! Next week, we will launch our Minga Rewards, allowing students to redeem points earned from events and positive recognition for actual rewards. I am truly impressed with our Jaguars engagement and enthusiasm!

The counselors will visit 7th-grade classes on January 31st and

6th-grade classes on February 3rd to discuss course selection.

They will return on February 19th to assist students with entering their courses into Skyward,
if they haven’t already done so.

Skyward will be open from February 3rd to February 21st.

There's no rush, as it’s not first come, first served—feel free to take your time!

We will also be hosting "Questions with Counselors" for

6th and 7th-grade parents (Future 7th and 8th Grade Parents) at

Jones on February 5th from 9:30-10:15 AM.
