LUNCH VISITOR POLICY UPDATES FOR SPRING SEMESTER
Dear Parents and Guardians,
At Kimberlin Academy, the well-being of our students—physical, mental, and emotional—remains at the heart of every decision we make. As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and supportive environment, we are updating our lunch visitation policy to better accommodate our students' needs.
Beginning January 2025, we will be able to accommodate six families per grade level for lunch visits. To ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all families, each family may sign up for one visit per month. Additionally, we ask that no more than four visitors attend per student, which includes younger siblings.
Due to the limited number of slots available, it is essential that you inform the school office more than 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your scheduled visit. This will allow us to open up the spot for another family.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new policy. Our goal is to continue providing a positive, healthy environment for all students, and we appreciate your support in making this possible.
Warm regards,
Elizabeth Murdoch, Principal

Interested in Orchestra?
Students have an opportunity to join orchestra for their 4th grade and 5th grade years.
Information is shared at the end of the year for our current 3rd and 4th grade families interested in learning more.
ALL families are invited to attend our events!
Be sure to click below to see what your students are learning, how to support them at home, and for some fun math games that students can play. We know how much it benefits our students when parents are active partners in the learning process!
COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Garland ISD partners with community organizations each year to help families with Christmas gifts and other important needs.
If your family could benefit from this, we are happy to help!
Please email me or send a Class Dojo message with your name and student(s)’ names.
I’ll be happy to connect you with one of our partners to help make your holidays a little brighter.
Please respond right away as many groups have very early deadlines.
This is NOT a guarantee that you will receive assistance, but we will communicate with you and do the very best we can.
