🚗Car Line Procedures 🚗Car Line Procedures

Car Line Reminders

  • To ensure your child arrives on time, please enter the car line before 6:55 AM. Arriving after this time will result in an unexcused tardy, which will lead to consequences. (consequences are administered after a student receives 3 cumulative tardies).

In the morning, the car loop typically takes 3–5 minutes if procedures are followed. In the afternoon, the entire line is cleared in about 11 minutes.

    Parent/Guardian Expectations

    • Drive cautiously in the traffic circle.
    • Do not use electronic devices in the drop-off lane.
    • Drop-off and pick-up take place in front of the office beginning by the yellow pillars.
    • Use the outer lane to turn into the traffic circle.
    • The car loop exit is the third turn in the circle.
    • Pull all the way forward before your child enters or exits the vehicle.

    Student Expectations

    • Students may enter campus starting at 6:45 AM.
    • In the afternoon, students must enter the car loop through the black gates between the Media Center and Cafeteria. Entry from the student parking gates is not allowed and may result in a referral.
    • Students should only enter or exit vehicles once the car is fully pulled forward in line.

🐾Discipline Policies & Information 🐾Discipline Policies & Information

As we kick off the school year, it’s important that all Coyotes are familiar with our key policies. These expectations are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and successful environment for everyone—and yes, they will be enforced.

📱 Wireless Communication Devices (Cell Phones & Headphones)
Devices are only permitted during lunch for high school students. Phones, earbuds, and headphones may not be out or in use during class time or passing periods. Keep them put away and stay focused—Coyote style!

👕 Dress Code
The dress code will be strictly enforced. Please review the attached guidelines to ensure compliance and avoid disciplinary action. Let’s keep it classy, Coyotes!

⏰ Tardies and Absences
School starts at 7:10 AM sharp! Repeated tardies and absences can impact extracurricular eligibility and lead to disciplinary action. Set those alarms and be on time!

Make sure you and your student have reviewed all policies and procedures linked here on the school website. Let’s start the year strong—the Coyote Way!

📋 Schedule Change Requests

To request a schedule change, CLICK HERE or scan the QR code.

  • Requests are reviewed nightly; approved changes will appear in myStudent the next day.
  • QR codes will also be available during lunch for easy access.
  • Be sure to include your reason in the form—this helps us process requests efficiently.
  • Only submit ONE form. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your request is received.
Submitting multiple forms will slow down the process and may move your request to a lower priority.
  • Schedule change requests to drop an AP course will not be considered.
  • No changes will be made for lunch periods, specific teachers, class times, or jobs.
  • Lunches may shift between A and B during the first two weeks, as they are tied to 6th period.

***Dual Enrollment students need to review the DE section above regarding additional schedule change information specifically for DE classes.

⚠️ Please do not email counselors or administrators.
Our goal is to make the schedule change process as efficient as possible, which requires following the stated procedures. If you email a counselor or admin about a schedule change, you will receive an automatic reply directing you to complete the form. Only requests submitted via the official form will be considered.

Our team will begin reaching out for complex changes starting August 4. We aim to finalize as many changes as possible before Open House on August 5, and again before the first day of school on August 11.
