Charger Check-In

Dear SCA Families,

This is the time of year when our hearts naturally turn toward family and the comforting presence of God. Each of our situations may look very different, yet we remain united by faith and by our SCA family. Whether you are traveling, hosting, visiting, or perhaps experiencing some struggles, and possibly even quietly dreading the busy days ahead, may you be reminded of the blessings that surround you.

As we enter the holiday season, I hope you are able to pause and truly spend time with your children; to enjoy their laughter, their questions, and their joy! It is so easy to become overwhelmed by the “things” of the holidays: the lists, the planning, the expectations. But the memories your kids will treasure most are the moments you spend with them, not the tasks checked off.

May this season bring you peace, grace, and gentle reminders of what matters most.

God Bless and Go Chargers,

Ms. Zerth

As the cold weather and snowy/icy conditions are once again upon us, we'd like to take a moment to remind families of our Drop-off / Pick-up Procedures;

• Kedvale Ave. between 107th St. and 105th St. and Karlov Ave. between 105th Pl. and 106th Pl. are designated a school zone with a speed limit of 20 MPH.

• Illinois law prohibits the use of cell phones and other handheld devices while driving in a school speed zone established under Section 11-605. This law applies to all drivers, regardless of age.

• The North parking lot is the faculty parking lot and should not be used in any way for student drop-off or pick-up. There is a significant amount of student foot traffic through this lot at these times.
