"FAREWELL HAS A SWEET SOUND OF RELUCTANCE. GOODBYE IS SHORT AND FINAL, A WORD WITH TEETH SHARP TO BITE THROUGH THE STRING THAT TIES PAST TO THE FUTURE.”
- John Steinbeck
We made it! Congratulations to everyone in our CUSD community on completing a fantastic 2025–26 school year. Our collective journey this year was filled with memorable milestones, meaningful achievements, and forward-looking initiatives. This success is thanks to the many individuals that make up our school community; parents, teachers, and all of our wonderful volunteers and leaders who served on committees like Calendar and Portrait of a Graduate, PTO, CSF, ISF, and CoSA. Thank you for showing up, especially on the tough days, to keep our students at the center of everything we do. I am honored to be part of this village, working alongside a team that ensures every child, every day has a connection, a challenge, and a champion.
This is our last newsletter of the year, so we are including some helpful information for those returning to CUSD next year:
