G W Harby Junior High - July 27, 2026

Dear Parents and Families,
We hope all our Hawks have had a great summer and are getting ready for school to start soon! This year, using the LEVEL UP theme, will be focusing on pushing students to reach their full potential in and beyond the classroom. Through strong first instruction and recapturing student learning through small group instruction, we are anticipating tremendous student success. It is going to be a great year at Harby Jr High!
Sincerely,
William "Randy" Teal
Principal of Harby Jr High
2026-2027 Harby Jr High Student Supply List
In Junior High, we don't ask students to bring and share any of their general classroom supplies. We do ask them to carry the personal supplies they will need on a daily basis. Those general supplies are listed on the Supply List Linked below.
The most important items are: a 3 inch binder, 7 spiral notebooks, pens, and pencils.
This year, we are going to be focusing on improving our students organizational and study skills through implementing the AVID Note Taking Guide through our classes. Each week, students will take some time during their homeroom class to organize their binder and look at the week ahead. We will be providing students with a "Nine Week Planner/Calendar page" to add in their binder so that they always have up to date information. Based on the success of the AVID program, we will be doing the AVID Spirals with the entire campus, not just the AVID class.
If you and your family is experiencing a financial hardship, please call the campus so that we can help your student get supplies for the school year.
