Principal's News & Updates
Dear Valadez Familia,
October has come and gone and we're excited for a new month! Thank you to all of you who joined us for our Electives Fair last week. It was such a fun opportunity for students to learn about their elective options like Video Production, Art, Digital Art, Band, Orchestra, Show Choir, Esports, Unified PE, and connect with their classmates. Next Friday, we'd like to invite you and your families to join us for our Dia de los Muertos event from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Come enjoy performances from our band and show choir, face painting, folklorico dance performances, and to see the amazing artwork from our students. Our PTA will also be serving food and refreshments so come have dinner with us!
I also hope to see you at our Coffee with the Principals at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, 11/4. I hope you have a great Halloween weekend!
Sincerely,
Mr. Truong

Family Resource Center
As part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District, the FRC is dedicated to supporting families by connecting them with essential resources and bridging the gap between school and home. We welcome all PYLUSD families, especially those qualifying under the McKinney-Vento Program, which supports students experiencing housing instability.
Our role includes ensuring children can attend school, arranging transportation, and providing free meals. We offer essential items like bedding, backpacks, clothing, and toiletries, maintain a food pantry, and offer limited wellness/counseling services. We also help families connect to housing solutions in Orange County.
To qualify, notify your school office and fill out a McKinney-Vento Enrollment Form.
