Welcome November!

We had a busy week. It was so fun seeing all the students (and staff) dressed for Halloween on Monday! Kids had a great time all day and then ended the day with an Italian Ice Party and a Fun Run Slideshow that they earned for raising so much money for the Fun Run!

Tuesday, we wore YELLOW in support of SEPAC!

Wednesday, we also had our first field trip of the year. Grade 5 spent the day on Wednesday at the Wildlife Center. Check out the pictures.

Thursday we hosted a representative of DESE from AIR who came in and observed our amazing classrooms.

Finally, we ended our week on Friday with a couple of special guest principals! Charlotte Spitz was our Principal for the Day and her sister Audrey Spitz was her Assistant Principal for the Day. I really think I should be worried out my job! They were amazing! Not only did they give all the students extra recess, but they kicked off our Praise Paws in the lunchroom. The rest of the students were so positive and encouraging to our guest principals that they even gave them a round of applause (unsolicited) at lunch!

This coming week is a short week! There is no school on Tuesday because of Election Day, but please see the Parent Council notes below for details and sign-ups for our bake sale. We are also off Friday to honor our Veterans. We have been displaying tributes to veterans in our lunch room.

Finally, don't forget to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences on November 15th or 16th if you haven't done so and please join us for our monthly Family/Parent Support Group Series starting this week! See the link below for more details.
