We're a Highly Effective School Library Program School!

The Highly Effective School Library Program Board selected Mountain Range High School as a Colorado Department of Education Highly Effective School Library Program School! This award is given to only a few schools in Colorado each year! Attaining Highly Effective Status is an honor that validates the collaboration between the library and classroom teachers to improve student achievement through quality instruction using Colorado’s Academic Standards and 21st Century Learner Skills. Mountain Range will be recognized at a ceremony celebrating this accomplishment of attaining highly effective status at an official Colorado State Board of Education Meeting soon. So exciting!

Do you have outstanding library/textbook fines?

Students that have an overdue library book, a library fine, or a textbook fine can find out details in two ways.

  1. Students can log in to their Adams 12 Gmail here. If they have a recent e-mail from me (Mrs. LaRue), they will see the title and price of library materials checked out or lost.
  2. Students can log in to Destiny themselves and see what's on their account (library books or textbooks). A video tutorial is below if interested in trying that.

Checking "My Info" in Destiny

Use our Google E-mail to Organize Research

In our databases, there is usually an option to email an article or other item to yourself. If students email articles to themselves, they can easily create a folder in their school email to organize and keep all research results for each project. The can then quickly find all the articles they are using to research a topic, and the emails often include the citation information as well.

This is quick, easy way that all students and staff can keep their sources organized. And, it's simple to access from any device anywhere! Take a look at the video below to find out how it works!
