Message From Admin
Peace and blessings to you all!
As we journey through the holy season of Lent, this week's verse reminds of the powerful words from Epistle to the Romans 5:19:
“For just as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.”
In this passage, St. Paul contrasts the disobedience of Adam with the saving obedience of Jesus. Through Adam, humanity experienced the brokenness of sin; but through Christ’s faithful “yes” to the Father, we are offered righteousness, hope, and new life. Lent invites each of us to reflect on the daily choices we make. While we may not think of our actions as dramatic as Adam's or Jesus Christ’s, our small acts of obedience, kindness, forgiveness, and integrity matter deeply.
For our students, this message is especially important. Lent is not simply about giving something up; it is about becoming something more. When our students choose honesty over shortcuts, compassion over exclusion, perseverance over giving up, they participate in Christ’s obedience. They help build a school community rooted in grace and love.
We look forward to gathering with you. You are warmly invited to our School Council Meeting on Wednesday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Mary's School Library. Your voice, partnership, and support are vital in shaping the life of our school.
In addition, we are very excited about the launch of our new Saints Hockey Program beginning next fall. This program will provide students with opportunities to grow not only in athletic skill, but in teamwork, discipline, and character. An information meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. this Thursday at St. Mary’s School. We look forward to sharing more details and answering your questions. If you are interested in this program, please sign up through the link below and tell your friends!
As we continue through Lent, may we all strive to follow Christ’s example of obedience and love. Through our daily choices, may we help one another grow and become the community God calls us to be.
With gratitude,
The STMY Administration Team

Winter is Here!
In the past couple of weeks, we have noticed that many of our students have not been dressed properly for the frigid and snowy conditions that are upon us. As winter weather sets in, we ask all students to dress appropriately for cold, snowy, and icy conditions. Warm coats, hats, gloves, and proper footwear are essential to ensure safety and comfort while traveling to and from school and during outdoor activities. While we appreciate our students' expression of style, Birkenstocks are best saved for warmer weather! They pair better with sunshine than snowbanks! Students will not be allowed to participate in fieldtrips, sports activities, etc., unless they are properly dressed! Thank you for your support in helping our students stay safe, warm, and ready to learn this winter.
