Principal's Notes from Mrs. Garcia

As we head into Week 4 of school, our Patriots are settling into their routines, staying engaged in their learning, and making their way through the day-to-day rhythm of the school year. We had a wonderful week that included a great Curriculum Night and an excellent Club Rush, where our students had the opportunity to explore all the different ways to get involved and connected on campus. Thank you to everyone who helped make both events such a success! It is hard to believe we are already heading into Week 4, but somehow the calendar keeps moving whether we are ready for it or not! We are looking forward to all that the next few weeks will bring.

This upcoming week, we will begin our Resiliency Education sessions. Our first session will take place on Wednesday during 3rd period, and we will follow a modified schedule for the day. This first module will focus on introducing Resiliency Education, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention and will cover stress management and self-regulation strategies, early warning signs of mental health concerns, and how to speak with and support someone who may need help. As we have these important conversations with our students, please remember that our school counselors are always here to support our students and staff whenever needed. Thank you for continuing to support our Patriots, keep them engaged, and help us chart the course for another great week at ARHS. All day, every day, the Patriot Way!

Dates to Remember:

9/7 – Labor Day, No School

9/10 – ARTIS Field Trip, Juniors Only

9/11 – Interim Period Ends

9/14 – SAC Meeting, 5:30 PM, Media Center

9/21 – No School for Students

A Note from the Curriculum Office

We would like to take the opportunity to give a shout-out to our amazing Guidance Counseling Team! Over the first few weeks of school, they have helped welcome new students, ensured core courses and graduation requirements were scheduled accordingly, and navigated hundreds of student requests. We are so thankful for their efforts and look forward to another great year ahead.

A Note from Student Services

ATTENTION SPECTATORS: NO RE-ENTRY PERMITTED
