7th Grade Math Ohio State Testing Olympic Review
The 7th grade math teachers have planned our FOURTH ANNUAL Ohio State Testing Olympic Review. We do not want the students stressed about testing, but we do want to spend a week reviewing for our assessment for math which takes place on April 29. We are planning an Olympic Games activity the weeks prior to the assessment to try and make our review fun and exciting! Students will earn points for their team based on effort, accuracy, and being a kind and helpful teammate. The first place team will have the opportunity to choose their prize first. The second place team will choose their prize next. ALL students will earn a prize for their efforts! If you are able to donate any of these prizes, we would be SO THANKFUL! The 7th grade teachers will fill in any gaps as well as provide the prize of Der Dutchman Donuts. Thank you for your consideration!

JAJHS - School Breakfast Facts
A great breakfast program is offered in the cafeteria every school day except delay days! Here are 5 good reasons to encourage your child to try it:
It's quick & easy! No need to wake up earlier, worry about what to have, or clean up breakfast dishes. Students can grab a healthy breakfast when they get to school and take it with them to class.
It's inexpensive! $1.50 for full pay, $0 for reduced.
It helps in the classroom! Studies have shown eating a nutritious breakfast helps improve concentration, alertness, focus, and memory. Students who eat breakfast perform better on standardized tests and score higher in key areas like reading and math.
It helps regulate mood! Eating a nutritionally balanced breakfast can support brain activity that controls emotions, moods, expectations, behaviors, and decision making skills.
It's healthy! People who eat breakfast are more likely to meet their recommended daily intakes of vitamins and minerals than people who don't. Eating breakfast is also good for weight management and heart health.
Starting the day with school breakfast is a great way to kick off the day! Encourage your child to give it a try!

Medications at School
Sometimes parents ask that school personnel administer medication to their child during the school day. When this is necessary, we require written permission and instructions from the parent and in some instances from the doctor. The required form must be completed and turned in to the junior high office with the medication to be administered.
