Come enjoy the music and songs of the Spring Season. Schweitzer music program students have been practicing hard to prepare a wonderful selection of band, orchestra and choral selections for you.

Saturday April 14 the Neshaminy Dream Team, including our very own Mrs. Exner, played the Harlem Wizards. Proceeds benefited the non-profit NFT. Fun was had by all. Please enjoy some highlights.

Seven students enrolled in the Life Skills program participated in Special Olympics on April 21, 2018. Athletes from the Bucks county area competed in track and field events at Council Rock North High School. Several students from the Neshaminy School district volunteered their time to help at this family-fun annual event. A big Thank You to Mrs. Exner for preparing our students year after year. What a fun event.

Friday, May 4 was our annual Tech Trot. Students took turns circling the Sandburg track to raise money for our school. All money raised goes directly to purchasing technology equipment for our School.

The weather was perfect, DJ playing, prices were awarded for the top 3 students raising the most money. A pizza party will be awarded to the classroom that raised the most money.

Please help us in congratulating Derek Tureikas from Mrs. Barr's 3th grade class for being our most recent Mystery Motivator. Derek received a Build-A-Bear G/C, along with a Schweitzer CARES t-shirt and certificate of recognition.

CONGRATULATIONS DEREK !!

Grade 2 had police officers from the Middletown Township Police come in to talk about their work in the local government. They shared information about their duties and responsibilities as well as how they help keep our community safe. Students also had time to ask them questions about their line of work and what it's like to be a police officer.
