The next few months are a critical time for teaching, learning, & reaching our school goal:

By this point in the year, you have developed relationships with your students and know their strengths and areas of need. 💕
The new semester also provided a reset to reteach and strengthen our classroom expectations and routines. 🙋🏻‍♂️
With the foundations in place, January through April is our longest stretch of predictable, focused time to hone in on the grade level skills students need most on EOY assessments.📝

Through the newsletter, Huddle, and collaborative meetings, we will focus professional development in the coming months on our school & PGP goals. Looking forward to these reflective conversations and focusing our efforts together!

Mid-Year Review

I will be meeting with teachers to review progress toward PGP and school goals. Please bring your laptops to these meetings!

Core Teams:

PGP Goal: Improve school performance (B letter grade) by tracking and ensuring growth across all proficiency levels on CFAs.
Meeting: During common plan time in Chelsea's office (see Google Calendar invite)

Electives:

PGP Goal: Improve school performance (B letter grade) by prioritizing two universal skills in my instruction, assessments, and feedback.
Meeting: During CTM Wednesday on 1/14 in the LMC @ 2:45

Tier III Interventionists:

PGP Goal: Improve school performance (B letter grade) by progress monitoring and intervening for students in lowest quartile.
Meeting: During RTI Team Meeting, 2nd period, on 1/22

Student Password Resets

You might take time in Advisory to have students reset their passwords this week.

Here are Robin's instructions:

"The easiest way to get this done is for YOU to open DART on your laptop and find the student and then select "SET NEW PASSWORD". Make sure the student writes down the new password. This syncs the password with Google and all the things without the student needing to sign in to DART. Most kids have saved the password for Primetime. Make sure they delete the saved password and type the new one in on Primetime. P.S. If after this new password they still can't log on to their CB, Remove the student's profile (click on the dropdown arrow and click remove -it will ask twice)."
