Hello BOES Families!
We had an amazing first week at BOES!! I am so grateful to be back to a "normal" schedule and be able to resume some of our BOES traditions. I cannot begin to describe the feeling that overcame the teachers and myself when the entire school did the Pledge of Allegiance together for the first time since March 13, 2020. It is hard to believe that we have not stood together as one student body for eighteen long months and we are finally able to do so again. We had a fun-filled three days and I am so proud of the strength and resiliency of both our students and staff. Also, I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you for the endless amounts of support this past week. Your words of encouragement and appreciation meant so much to all of us.

Parking Lot Reminders
It will get better, I promise! To help make things run a little smoother, please make sure you are following these guidelines:
- Pull all the way forward when dropping off and picking up.
- Do not get out of your car and make sure your child is ready to hop out right away.
- Turn RIGHT ONLY out of the parking lot.
- When merging with the other lane, pull up close to the dumpsters and merge at that point.
- Use the crosswalks when walking across the round-a-bout.

Book Fair
We are thrilled that our PTA will once again be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair from August 30th - September 3rd. This first one will be different than in the past because we cannot allow parents to visit the book fair. However, students will get a chance to preview the book fair on either Monday or Tuesday that week and create a Wish List. On Wednesday or Thursday, they will get to shop and Friday will be reserved for any last-minute purchase. Please stay tuned for the schedule.
