Emily Robinson: A Resource for Students & Families
Dear TFS Families,
🫶Welcome to our new and returning TFS families!
Our third Hawks Happenings is filled with important dates, information, and a look at what is ahead for the 2026–2027 school year.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our TFS Meet & Greet on September 1 from 2:00–3:00 PM. We highly encourage families to park at Veterans Park. Two Merrimack Police Officers will be onsite to navigate traffic and street crossings.
Breakfast🥚🥯
On Wednesday, 9/2, there will be no breakfast for students as it is a staggered start. Thursday, and every day thereafter, breakfast will be served.
Socials
Please stay connected to TFS via our facebook page, instagram, website and these Hawks Happenings. On Facebook, you will find pictures and bios of our new team members.
Stay tuned for more communications from our school and your child's teacher. We look forward to an amazing, productive and joyful year!

Making Dismissal Easy: School Dismissal Manager - Access will begin on 8/26
Dear New and Returning Families - Important info on SDM
Welcome to School Dismissal Manager (SDM)! Using SDM with your desktop or smartphone browser, you can quickly and easily update instructions when your child's dismissal needs to be changed or when your child is going to be tardy or absent from school. SDM notifies the school of your updates so that it is no longer necessary for you to phone the school, send notes, or send an email to inform the school of dismissal changes. SDM provides us with a more organized and efficient tracking system for afternoon dismissals, absences, tardies, and early dismissals.
The easy-to-use mobile and desktop interface will allow you to make these changes in advance or for the current day. You can also report absences, early dismissals.
To download the app, go to your preferred app store and search SchoolDismissalManager.
Once you login, please set your child's default transportation. From the desktop interface, select the green Set/View Default button or from the SDM app, select Default Dismissal from the menu dropdown to set your child's appropriate default dismissal.
The deadline to log in and update your dismissal is August 31, 2026.
**If your child has more than one dismissal procedure, please select which option they use the most for their "default" and then create a "weekday default" for the other option. For example, if your child takes Bus 5 Mon-Wed and attends the YMCA on Thurs-Fri, Bus 5 would be their default. You would then change their "Weekday Default" on Thursday and Friday to YMCA.
When creating an exception for the current day, please note that the cut-off time is 1:30PM. After the cut-off time you will need to call the school office to make any changes for the current day.
Here are a few Fast Facts that you will need to know for getting started:
- Parents have been issued a username and temporary password at the top of this email. Please use these to login to SDM at www.schooldismissalmanager.com.
- The Parent Login area is found at the top right of the SDM homepage.
- When you login for the first time, you will be required to change your password immediately.
- Please refer to the Parent Guide for Creating Exceptions and How-To videos upon login for details on how to use the system.
- As you begin to use School Dismissal Manager, if you have questions, please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) link found in the Parent login area at the top of the SDM homepage. Here, you will find answers to the most commonly asked questions. If your question remains unanswered after checking here, please contact the school office at 603-889-1577 and we will be happy to assist you further.
- When you start to receive the email notifications of changes or cancellations that are made for your child, please keep in mind that hitting Reply or Reply All on those emails does not reply to the school. If you need to respond to a notification (i.e., to inform the school it is incorrect, provide additional details, etc.) please call the school directly and talk with someone in the office.
- Do not use the Recurring Dismissal feature to put in your child's ''default'' dismissal.
- Each school day, School Dismissal Manager will send a comprehensive dismissal report to the school immediately following the cut-off time, allowing administrators and staff to facilitate a smooth dismissal.
- Bus drivers do not see any notes you enter in the 'notes' section. Please do not enter anything into the notes.
Thank you for using this tool to help us keep the dismissal process safe and orderly for all our students. Please contact Ashley Morgan at 603-889-1577 or email ashley.morgan@sau26.org with any questions or concerns.
The QR code will go live at 2:30PM for car dismissal check in.
