Message from the Principal
Our Eisenhower Family Handbook is designed to provide you with important information about our school's policies, procedures, and resources. It serves as a guide to help you navigate the school year smoothly and ensure that everyone is well-informed and prepared. We encourage you to read through it carefully and keep it handy for future reference.
Please use the link below to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the contents of the handbook. We will also have a table set up during conferences for you to sign off on this important task.
Thank you for your partnership!
Another important resource to use at home is our Hopkins Literacy Toolkit, which is filled with information, activities and games aligned to each grade level. Check it out!

Fall Family Conferences – October 14 & 15
We are looking forward to connecting with you during Fall Family Conferences on October 14 and 15. Conferences are an important opportunity for us to partner together to support your child’s growth and success.
During your conference, you can expect:
A summary of your child’s academic progress and social-emotional growth so far this year.
A chance for you to share more about your child, their strengths, and any insights you’d like us to know.
Time to set shared goals for your child’s continued success at school.
Conference Parameters
Each student is allotted one 30-minute conference slot.
For students with two households, families are asked to attend jointly. If that is not possible, the 30 minutes may be divided into two 15-minute conferences.
Families may choose to attend in person, virtually through Google Meet, or by phone.
It is not expected that teachers schedule conferences outside of the designated dates.
If you have not already signed up for a conference time, please contact your child's teacher or the main office at 952-988-4302 to sign up.
We value your partnership and look forward to meaningful conversations about your child’s learning and growth.

If you would like to receive either the weekend food bags or the hygiene bags, please reach out directly to:

Hopkins Bus Pass Policy
All requests for guest/friend bus passes must be pre-approved by the Transportation Department. With increasingly full vehicles, transportation must first ensure there is appropriate room for an extra scholar.
Parents should request a bus pass from the school front office at least one full day before the desired ride. It is NOT guaranteed there will be space on the bus. If it is approved, the Transportation Department will send a bus pass to the school for your child.
Bus passes will not be processed on a recurring basis. They are intended for infrequent use, or emergency situations only.
Eisenhower office phone: 952-988-4300
Transportation Update
Thank you for your patience as our Transportation Team continues working to provide busing for as many students as possible. Hopkins has completed a ridership analysis to identify routes that may have space available for families living in the No Bus Zone.
We are now comparing route capacity with our waiting list of families who applied for transportation but could not be accommodated in the initial routing. Over the next several weeks, we will contact families individually by email if space becomes available.
Please note: stop information will not be visible in Infinite Campus at this time. Watch your email for updates, or reach out to Transportation at SchoolBus@HopkinsSchools.org with any questions.

Enrichment Opportunity!
Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY) is now accepting applications for its fall session. Advanced learners in grades 1 - 5 take two unique classes each Saturday with peers from around the Twin Cities area who share their interests. Parents are invited to attend free speakers while students are in class. Go here to learn more.
Attention 5th graders!
Do you love to sing and make music with others? We are so lucky to have the opportunity to send students to participate in a state-wide honor choir on February 14, 2026 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Students would be responsible for learning a handful of pieces with practice tracks at home and then attend rehearsal the morning of the concert. If you think this would interest your student, please reach out to Mrs. Sorenson at mara.sorenson@hopkinsschools.org.
