Parking Lot Reminders
We are moving a lot of people on and off campus in a very short period of time. To make this safe and most efficient, please drive cautiously and pull all the way forward to drop off or pick up your child. Remember, we can't park on Eastland Rd and wait for our children to come out.
Thanks for your help in keeping us all safe.
Parent Teacher Conferences
BMHS will hold Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 3:15 to 7:00 P.M. All parents are encouraged to attend and discuss your student's progress. Staff locator sheets and a school map will be available on the night of the conferences. To schedule a conference, CLICK HERE.
Conferences will be held in person unless you click "ADD SPECIAL REQUEST" for a virtual conference. You must provide contact information for a phone or video conference for the teacher to contact you.
If you are unable to schedule a conference, walk-ins are welcome if time allows.
Turkey Drive
We are bringing back the Turkey Drive. We have partnered with Audrey's Outreach and will be donating the turkeys for them to pass out to families in need during the Holiday Season. Please support this great cause. It will start on October 7th and end on October 29th. You can donate by using the QR code provided or Venmo (@Carol-Hurst-11). Donations are $10. Thank you for your support. Families in our district will be grateful for the donations.

Hey everyone! We have a quick update about our France/Spain trip this summer!
First, we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has already signed up! We are so excited to have you joining us, and we can’t wait to experience this amazing trip together!
If you’ve been thinking about going but haven’t signed up yet, this is your reminder, as we only have 3 spots left! Once the spots are filled, we won’t be able to add any more students.
So if you’ve been waiting to decide, now is the time!
Talk to your parents and Mrs. Pinter, check out the trip information, and get your spot before they’re gone.

The student chosen must be available to attend in-person at John Carroll University this summer, the dates are TBD. One sophomore will be chosen to attend at no cost (to be paid for by the district). Find our more about HOBY here. Applications are open to all current 10th graders. This is a competitive process. Titan Toolkit Small Group:
Our anxiety management group called Titan Toolkit will begin soon, led by BMHS counseling staff. If you would like to learn more, please reach out to Mrs. Intagliata at aintagliata@bereaschools.org.
College Application Deadlines Are Approaching!
November 1 is the deadline for Early Action, Early Decision, and Single-Choice/Restrictive Early Action applications at many colleges. With less than two weeks remaining, now is the time for seniors to put the final touches on their applications and prepare to submit!
Students should follow up with teachers to ensure their letters of recommendation have been submitted through Naviance. They should also complete the Transcript Request Google Form for each college they would like their transcripts and other required school documents sent to.
Parents and guardians can help by checking in with their seniors, encouraging them to stay organized, and reminding them to review each college’s application requirements and deadlines. A little extra attention now can help ensure everything is submitted on time!
