Mrs. Anzivino's MentorUpdateMarch 20, 2024

Hello RA Families,

Next week is spring break. It is hard to believe that we are at this point in our semester already! The last half of the semester always seems to fly by.

Your student should be working in week 27 for their core classes and week 8 in their elective classes this week.

Remember to complete your CDAT question each week. CDAT is an OVA requirement that collects your online attendance and allows us to connect weekly.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

ZERO IN THE GRADEBOOK? ZERO IN THE GRADEBOOK?

If the due date for an assignment passes, you will see a non mastered (NM) in the gradebook. This is considered a placeholder grade to help parents and students know what assignments are missing. Your student should be turning in missing work upon return from an absence to their field instructor. Online quizzes should also be completed. A retry may be automatically allowed or you may need to contact the TOR of the class for a retry.

ABSENT WORK REMINDER ABSENT WORK REMINDER

If your student is absent for their in person days, please turn in work that was completed the next time they return to school. This will help us keep a gradebook that accurately reflects your student's progress. Your student must turn in work in order to receive credit for the time that they were absent. If you are unsure what needs to be completed (especially in social studies and science) please refer to the assignment tracker.
