Choice Enrollment Now Open – Priority Window Through March 20!

In-District and Non-Resident choice enrollment is now open for the 2026-27 school year—and this year, we've introduced a tiered system to give families clarity on timing and priority.

How the New Tier System Works:

📅 TIER ONE: Priority Open Enrollment (Feb 1 - March 20)
Applications submitted during this window receive first priority for approval. This is the best time to apply!

📅 TIER TWO: Open Enrollment (March 21 - April 12)
Applications submitted during Tier Two are processed after Priority applications are reviewed, based on available space.

📅 AFTER APRIL 12: Waiting List
Applications received after April 12 are placed on a waiting list and approved only if space becomes available.

Choice enrollment includes:

  • In-District School Choice - Transfer to another school in the district
  • Non-Resident Out of District Choice - Joining us from another school district.

WestSide Counselors: Ready for the Big Game!

It's National School Counseling Week, and WestSide High School's counselors are bringing their A-game—both on and off the field!

Ms. Rosa and Mr. Godina might not be suiting up for the Super Bowl this Sunday, but they've been tackling challenges, calling the right plays, and coaching students to victory all year long.

Their stats speak for themselves:

  • 🏈 Handling every crisis with championship-level calm
  • 🏈 Supporting students through academic hurdles (and life's curveballs)
  • 🏈 Creating a culture where every student knows: YOU MATTER

And let's be honest—with a "YOU MATTER" display featuring Seahawks photos and a goal post frame, these counselors know how to score points with students AND show their 12th Man pride!

This weekend: The Seahawks go for glory.
Every day: Ms. Rosa and Mr. Godina help WestSide students go for THEIRS.

Thank you to ALL our school counselors across WSD for being champions for students, every single day. You don't just tackle challenges—you help students discover their unlimited potential.
