Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars:

Happy Friday! I can not believe we are only 14 days away from the end of another school year. We have a VERY BUSY next few weeks as we close out the year and get our seniors ready to transition from students to alumni. Please make sure you are checking emails and our social media to stay up to date on the ver latest information as we heard towards graduation.

WE WILL RAISE THE BAR AT RILEY!

I am looking forward to working with you and your student as we work toward an academically successful school year. I can promise you the best of myself for your students each and every day. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shenderson2@sbcsc.k12.in.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.

Our Goals:

1) Get students reading on grade level

2) A 95% attendance rate

3) A 90% graduation rate

We greatly appreciate the value that each and every one of our scholars and families brings to Riley. WE ARE THE PRIDE OF THE SOUTHSIDE! WE ARE #RILEYSTRONG!

Sincerely,

Shawn Henderson

Now is the time to get your cap and gown out of the package and hung up on a hanger so it can begin getting ready for that special day. We do not want you to take it out that first day and it be all wrinkled as we go through these senior events. You will need your gowns for Graduation Walks, Celebration of Excellence, Senior Awards, and Graduation.

Out of the 12,200 PLTW High Schools in the country, only 218 high schools earned the PLTW Distinguished School recognition. We are proud to announce that Riley High School is the only high school in the area to achieve this honor for five consecutive years, thanks to the hard work and support from our entire school community.

Thank you for your support!
