What's the Buzz?!

Dear Murphy Families,

As we come to the close of another successful school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students, staff, and families. This year has been filled with learning, growth, achievement, and unforgettable memories across our schools.

As students prepare to move on to the next grade level, we are proud of the hard work and determination they have shown throughout the year. From our youngest learners to our soon-to-be high school students, each child has continued to grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.

A very special congratulations goes out to our 8th graders as they have promoted and begin an exciting new chapter in high school. While we are sad to say goodbye, we are incredibly proud of the young leaders they have become. We wish them continued success and know they will do amazing things in the years ahead.

Although the school year is ending, learning will continue this summer as summer school begins on June 1st at William R. Sullivan Elementary. We are excited to welcome students for a summer filled with academic enrichment, engaging activities, and opportunities for continued growth and success.

Thank you to our families, staff, and community for your ongoing support throughout the school year. We hope everyone has a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break, and we look forward to welcoming our students back for another great year ahead!

Thank you for being part of the Murphy community.

Warm regards,
Mr. Dettmar
Superintendent
