Spotlight on NEW Indoor Percussion Group 🥁✨

Meet the NEW Golden Apple Indoor Percussion, proving that when it comes to music education, WHS is golden to the core. The competitive ensemble will perform a friends and family show on January 30 at 8:00 PM at Orchard Middle School.

The shows blend drumming, movement, and visual design to tell a story or express a theme. Members play a mix of battery percussion and front ensemble instruments (keyboards, synthesizers, and auxiliary percussion), creating a powerful and artistic experience that showcases both musical precision and visual expression.

Fish & Wildlife Biology is Flying High

Mrs. Jasper’s Fish and Wildlife Biology class spent class time with some feathered guests last week! These Harris’s hawks were brought by local falconers trained and licensed to work with birds of prey. A huge thank you to Jasen and Jessica Hendrickson for coming and speaking with classes about falcons, hawks and the history of falconry.
