Beneke Blast October 2, 2026-October 9, 2026

Dear Beneke Families,

Thank You for Joining Us at Open House!

Thank you to all of our Beneke families who joined us for Open House this week! We enjoyed welcoming you into our classrooms and giving you an opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers and learn more about the great things happening at Beneke. Your partnership and support make a difference, and we appreciate you being part of our Beneke family!

Every Minute of Instruction Counts!

As we continue working toward our goal of “An A by May,” we need every Bear at school, on time, and ready to learn each day. Attendance matters, and every minute of instruction counts!

Please help us protect valuable learning time by avoiding early student pick-ups unless your child has a doctor’s appointment or another necessary appointment. Leaving school early causes students to miss important instruction, small-group support, interventions, and classroom activities.

Thank you for helping us make every school day—and every instructional minute—count!

Character Day Parade & Trunk or Treat – October 30!

Get ready for a fun day at Beneke! On Friday, October 30, we will celebrate with our Character Day Parade and Trunk or Treat! More information about the parade and event will be shared soon.

We would greatly appreciate donations of candy and treats to help make this a special event for our Bears. For the safety of our students, all donated candy and treats must be store-bought and individually packaged.

Thank you for helping us create a fun and memorable experience for our students!

One Team, One Dream, Stronger Together!
We are on our way to an A by May!

Car Rider Number Required

Beginning on the first day of school, families must have a car rider number and the official car rider tag/document provided by the campus in order to pick up their child through the car rider line.

If you need a car rider number or campus car rider tag, please stop by the front office for support.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, organized, and efficient for all of our Bears!

Arrival and Dismissal

School Hours 7:35 AM-3:25 PM

7:35 AM-8:05 AM Student Arrival

8:06 AM Tardy Bell Rings

3:25 PM-3:45 PM Dismissal

All car riders have a car rider number, and parents must have the placard issued by the campus to pick students up from the car rider line.

You may not use a picture of the placard to pick up your student.

If you arrive after 3:45 PM to pick up your student up from the front office with the car rider tag, show your ID, and sign the late dismissal form.

Please be courteous and follow the procedures when using the car rider line.

The traffic pattern is designed for cars to take turns, turning into the parking lot from Briarchase Dr. Please do not form a third line down the center of the road to turn into the car rider line.

Walker A Parents, please do not block the entrance to the neighborhood. In the event of an emergency, an emergency vehicle needs access to the residents' homes. Therefore, you may not park on both sides of the entrance or the main road leading to the neighborhood.

Walker B Parents, please do not park on the side of Briarchase Drive disrupting the car rider line. If your child is a walker you may not call them over to a car where you are parked or driving. You need to exit your vehicle and walk to meet your student.

Llegada y Salida

Horario escolar: 7:35 a. m. – 3:25 p. m.

7:35 a. m. – 8:05 a. m. | Llegada de estudiantes
8:06 a. m. | Suena la campana de tardanza
3:25 p. m. – 3:45 p. m. | Salida
