Ingraham News
Hi Ingraham Families,
Last week was a busy one at the Ram house! We had Secret Staff Spirit Week, our band visited Robert Eagle Staff Middle School, students participated in the Sound Credit Union Bite of Reality event, our culinary class took a trip to Pike Place Market, and we had our third annual Haunted House. It was truly a fun week to be a Ram!

Ingraham Family Newsletter Feedback
Thank you for those who took the Ingraham Family Newsletter Feedback. Here's a snapshot of what was said:
Families shared that they appreciate the newsletter’s mix of information and celebration. The most popular sections include updates on school events, reminders and resources, academic and program information, and student and staff highlights. Many of you noted that the newsletter helps you feel connected to what’s happening at Ingraham, which is exactly what we hope for.
Families also offered suggestions for improvement. Several asked for clearer, easy-to-find links to specific topics (like senior events, parking, or ticket info), a simple bullet list of upcoming dates, and more opportunities to feature student voices or ASB updates. Thank you again for the helpful and encouraging feedback. It means a lot and helps us continue to improve how we share Ingraham news each week!
There's still time to take the survey- Ingraham Family Newsletter Feedback Survey – Fill out form.
Sound Credit Union “Bite of Reality” Comes to Ingraham!
On Tuesday October 28, students in Dr. G’s Career Connect classes, and Ms. Steelsmith’s Business and Marketing classes had a great time participating in a simulation, hosted by Sound Credit Union. The event is called a “Bite of Reality,” where students receive a persona (job title, income, spouse, children, student loans, etc.) and then visit eight different stations to make decisions about “wants versus needs” in clothing, food, transportation, childcare, and more. The simulation is a terrific practice for understanding how to work within a budget! Whenever students went over their budget, they had to visit the Credit Union table to get reset; then, they had to make adjustments. Students reported learning about the importance of healthy money management and the importance of maintaining a good credit score. Many thanks to Sound Credit Union for not only running the simulation but also treating students to breakfast items from Panera!
Ingraham Band Visiting Robert Eagle Staff Middle School
Shoutout to the Ingraham Band for visiting Robert Eagle Staff Middle School! Building strong connections with our feeder schools plays a big role in our success at Ingraham, and our band did just that by helping future Rams learn and practice their instruments.
This Week’s PRIDE Award Winner: Nuhamin Samson
Nuhamin is a dedicated student and a proud leader of Ingraham’s East African Club. She has taken initiative by inviting past club members to share their experiences and discuss the importance of cultural identity and community. Nuhamin is especially proud that the club welcomes all students interested in learning about East African culture and heritage.
Next year, she plans to attend a four-year university to pursue pre-law. She has already been accepted to Seattle University with a full scholarship but is keeping her options open.
Thank you, Nuhamin, for leading with PRIDE and reaching your full potential at Ingraham
