Noble Family Newsletter
March 20, 2026
At Noble Elementary, we believe that every student has the right to learn and grow in a safe and respectful environment. We also believe that every student has the power to make positive choices, learn from mistakes, and become stronger leaders in our school community. Noble Elementary empowers all students for college and career readiness through AVID’s schoolwide focus on WICOR, student success skills, and a growth mindset.
We are excited to invite families to our Noble 5th Grade Spring Concert on Thursday, May 7 at 6 p.m.! Our students have been working hard to prepare a wonderful evening of music, and we look forward to showcasing their talents. To ensure a successful performance, it is important that all students attend this special event. Please mark your calendars now; more details will be shared soon. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Rossi via ClassDojo or email.
A Very Personal Profession
Noble Families,
At Noble, we use student learning data as a tool to better understand how to support each child’s growth. Our focus is on ensuring students truly understand and can apply what they are learning, not just covering content. Teachers continuously revisit key skills while introducing new concepts to help strengthen understanding.
You can support your child by asking them to explain their learning and encouraging effort and persistence. Wishing you a wonderful Spring Break! School will be closed March 23–27, and we will resume classes on Monday, March 30. Thank you for your continued partnership.
Mr. Walker, M.Ed.
Principal
From the Assistant Principal's Desk
Noble Families,
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students and school community. This past week, we saw positive growth in student behavior and school culture, and we are proud of the way our students are demonstrating the Noble Big 4 throughout the building. To celebrate these efforts, our administrative team has begun recognizing classes with “Golden Tickets” when they are caught showing positive behavior in hallways, at recess, during dismissal, and throughout the school. Classes that earn 12 Golden Tickets will receive a small celebration as a way to recognize their teamwork and commitment to a positive school environment.
We also appreciate the many families who connected with us during conferences. These conversations are so valuable as we work together to support student success and finish the year strong. Wishing all of our Noble families a safe, restful, and enjoyable Spring Break! We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready to learn.

Stay in the Game Attendance Raffle
Take the "Stay in the Game" Attendance Pledge!
We are excited to invite all our families to participate in the Stay in the Game & Take the Pledge challenge for a chance to be entered into our weekly school raffle! To join in, simply complete the pledge form above.
Please ensure you know our official school schedule (8:45 a.m.), as being on time for the start of the day and staying until the final bell (3:25 p.m.) is vital for student success. Remember that consistency is key: it is true that missing more than two days of school a month has a negative impact on a student's learning. If your child does need to be absent, it is also true that you must call the attendance line at (216-320-4920), even if you have already communicated with their teacher.
Once you’ve answered these questions, please have your student print their name and a parent provide a signature to formalize your family's commitment to prioritizing school attendance every day.
Q4 Attendance Incentive
As we head into the 4th quarter after Spring Break, it’s a fresh start for strong attendance! 🎉 Students in grades 2–5 have a new opportunity to earn an invite to our Attendance Celebration by having 0–1 absences AND 0–1 tardies (over 15 minutes) by the end of the quarter. Let’s finish the year strong—every day counts!
Community Learning Center (CLC) Needs Assessment Survey
Noble Elementary CLC is asking for your support in completing the Community Learning Center (CLC) Needs Assessment Survey.
This survey is an important tool that helps us better understand the needs, interests, and priorities of our students and families. The feedback we receive directly impacts the programs, services, and resources we are able to provide through the CLC.
To make it fun and boost participation, we’re offering a friendly competition:
The grade level with the highest number of completed survey submissions will win a special treat!
Each class within the winning grade will get to choose their celebration:
🍧 Popsicle Party
🍪 Cookie Party
🍿 Popcorn Party
School-Wide Reading Rally Fundraiser
We are excited to offer our Reading Rally fundraiser from March 30–April 16, an optional opportunity to support our school while encouraging student literacy. Students who choose to participate will set a personal reading goal, such as the number of books, pages, or minutes read. They will track their progress throughout the campaign using tools provided by the school and fundraising team. Each participating student will also receive a personal online page to share with family and friends for donations connected to their reading goals.
Donations are completely optional, and participation is not required for students or families. Throughout the campaign, students will be recognized and celebrated for their effort, progress, and growth as readers. More details and directions will be shared soon, and we look forward to a fun and engaging experience for our students!
PUPS Community Listening Sessions
The latest state budget has drastically underfunded public schools, and as a result CH-UH is facing at least $5 million in cuts over the next two years. The Board of Education and Superintendent are gathering family feedback to help inform upcoming budget decisions, and families are invited to participate in one of several community listening sessions.
Upcoming listening sessions include:
• Roxboro El – Tues., March 31 | 6-7:30 PM
• Canterbury – Thurs., April 2 | 6-7:30 PM
Each session will include refreshments and childcare on site. We encourage families to attend and share their perspectives as the district plans for the future.

Gun Safety Awareness
As the District shared in January, as part of our continued PBIS and Social Emotional Learning efforts, schools are providing routine expectation assemblies focused on safety and prevention, including gun safety awareness.
Additional parent programming has been planned in collaboration with the district’s family and community partners. Part one of this gun safety series, See Something, Say Something, is March 18 at 6 p.m. Attendees can build common gun safety knowledge and receive resources. Register here; the workshop will be virtual. Tune into the CH-UH YouTube channel to view.
Additional information about this programming can be found on our website here.

Communication Plan - Persons with Disabilities
The District has adopted a plan for communications with persons with disabilities, which is available at the following link: Communication Plan. The plan establishes procedures to ensure that the District's communications with persons with disabilities, including applicants, participants, members of the public, and companions with disabilities, are as effective as its communications with others.
Ohio State Tests!
The Ohio State Testing (OST) windows open almost immediately after Spring Break, making daily attendance more urgent than ever. We are continuing our "Question of the Week" to build student confidence, but we need your partnership at home to ensure students feel prepared and rested.
Please take note of these upcoming mandatory testing dates:
