Parent - Teacher Conferences | February 19, 2026 Parent - Teacher Conferences | February 19, 2026

We have our second round of Parent-Teacher Conferences at the end of the month on Thursday, February 19 from 4:30–7:00 pm.

We are returning to a traditional format this year, giving families the chance to meet with all seven of your student’s teachers. While these are no longer student-led, we still encourage students to attend with their parents and be part of the conversation about their learning and goals.

Conferences are valuable for every student—whether they’re excelling, need extra support, or are in between. We look forward to seeing you there!

Loons Game at Dow Diamond Field Trip | May 12, 2026 Loons Game at Dow Diamond Field Trip | May 12, 2026

We are excited to announce that the entire middle school will be able to attend a Loons game at Dow Diamond on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The cost of this trip will be $11 and that will include a ticket to the game, transportation, and a school provided sack lunch. Please note that students will not be able to bring the free lunch in to Dow Diamond so they will have to eat it on the way to the game. There will be concessions available at the ballpark for students who are interested in purchasing those as well or instead of taking a free school lunch. They will allow cash on the days of the School Day game which is a special exception for our students.

Here is the permission slip for the event: Dow Diamond Permission Slip

We need permission slips and the $11 admission in the main office by Friday, March 13, 2026 in order to plan for the event. If you have any questions or have financial concerns, please contact Mrs. Thunberg or Mrs. Glazier.

We would appreciate donations from any families who are willing to help a student who is having financial difficulties for this event. You can cover the $11 cost for a student in need in the main office at FMS and we will make sure that all of our students are able to attend this field trip.
