From The Nest
Edition 6: November 1, 2022
Speaking of Navy, it was an honor to be in the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to witness the tradition of the Brigade of Midshipmen march into the stadium and the flyover prior to kickoff. As Veterans Day approaches later this month, I want to THANK the men and women who have served/sacrificed and are currently serving/sacrificing while in the United States Armed Forces.
HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2022
This Saturday we will also present our Temple Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022 at halftime of our Football game. It is a tremendous class represented by six sports, three All-Americans, two All-Region honorees, school record holders, a National Champion and one of the longest Temple Athletics staffers in school history. Please join me Saturday in recognizing field hockey All-Americans Deb Brown Townsend and Lori Warneka O’Donnell, field hockey all-Region and women's lacrosse All-American Jill Marple, softball two-time all-Region and Academic All-American Adrienne Repsher Kashner, men’s basketball 2000-point scorer David Hawkins, football honorable mention All-American wide receiver Willie Marshall, baseball standout pitcher Ed Molush and longtime men’s basketball administrator Essie Davis.
