Jayhawk Families,

We had a fantastic day Friday celebrating Homecoming! We are looking forward to our football game this evening against Pleasanton. Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community members for making the day such a success. A special thank you to STUCO and Mrs. Slinkard for organizing such a memorable event.

As we look ahead:

• Pre-ACT Testing: On Wednesday, October 8, all freshmen will take the Pre-ACT. This assessment provides valuable practice for the ACT and gives teachers and students important feedback to guide learning. Attendance is very important on this day so students can make the most of this opportunity.

• End of Quarter: Friday, October 10 is the last day of the first quarter. Parent/teacher conferences will take place the following week. Conferences are a great time to connect with teachers about student progress, celebrate successes, and discuss areas of growth. We look forward to seeing many of you then.

• Celebrating Excellence: Congratulations to Coach Christa Holt on earning her 500th career win! Coach Holt’s dedication and care extend far beyond the court, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with her.

• School Expectations: As we move into a new quarter, we will re-set expectations with students on Monday. Please help us by reminding your student that cell phones should be powered off and kept in their academic lockers during the school day.
