Scott's Branch Middle High School
"Eagle Nation" 2025-26
Welcome to the "Nest"! 🦅
From the Principal's Desk
It’s been a great week at the Branch! Our parent-teacher conferences and Title 1 Stakeholder meeting was a huge success on Tuesday. We'd like to thank all the parents/guardians who were able to come out and meet with us! We hope that we are able to meet with even more parents/guardians during this last nine weeks.
High school parents and students, this is a reminder that teachers of EOC courses will hold after‑school test prep sessions from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. English 2 sessions are on Mondays. Algebra and US History sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All students enrolled in these courses are encouraged to join.
Rise up, Eagle Nation, and meet the expectation!

📚 SBMHS Library 📚
Library News - March 23-27, 2026
Last week our librarian, Miss Davis, attended the SCASL library conference, where she joined sessions, gathered new resources, connected with fellow South Carolina librarians, and meet several wonderful authors.
Genre of the Month: Our genre of the month for March was fantasy. Fantasy books are filled with imagined worlds, magical powers, and creatures that can only exist in stories. Stop by the library to see what is available.
Best of the Nest: Read something great? Share your thoughts! Grab a form from Miss Davis.
Reading Fact: Why read every day? Students who read for 20 minutes each day will be exposed to 1.8 million words per year. Reading will help you improve and build your vocabulary.
Upcoming: Eagle readers, are you ready to READ? We've got some fun reading activities planned for April. We hope that you'll join in the fun, enjoy some books, and earn some rewards!
Parent-Teacher Conference Night & Title 1 Stakeholder Meeting
On behalf of Dr. Cummings, Principal, and Mrs. Wells, Assistant Principal, thank you to our parents, families, students, and staff for taking part in this week’s parent‑teacher conference and Title 1 Stakeholder Meeting. Our shared commitment strengthens every learner.
As we begin the final nine weeks, we continue to aim high, stay focused, and model positive behavior. Eagles, together we can rise up and meet the expectation! 🦅
