Shepherd Elementary Weekly Update

Elementary students celebrated the seniors this week during the senior walk. Reminder that graduation is on Sunday, May 17th at 3:00 in the high school gym.

June 4th: Last day of School- 1/2 Day

Next week May 18th-22nd all library books are to be turned in. Students will have a last read-aloud and get their Summer Reading Challenge Information.

On Friday, May 22nd students will participate in a half-day of fun outdoor activities and games, PK-2nd grade will be outside from 8:30-11:00 and 3rd-5th grade will be from 12:00-2:30 with lunch for students, volunteers, and staff from 11:00-12:00.

Any student that is an independent walker MUST head home after school. Students may not stay after school and play on the snow hills or playground.

For SES Elementary pick-up and drop-off, please follow the blue arrows. Please do not drive south on 4th St. off to Wright Ave, instead use either 2nd or 3rd Street. Both of these streets will lead you to the appropriate location to access the pick-up/drop-off line. We will have staff waiting at the elementary loop to assist students entering and exiting your vehicle. Our top priority is student safety.

Please DO NOT call the office after 2:15pm for changes to your students pick up mode. All changes needs to be made before this time. Students will be dismissed according to the pickup method listed in PikMyKid.

2. Select Option #3

3. Select Option #1 and include the student's name, teacher, specific reason for absence, and date they will return.

4. Upon return to school, turn in a note from the physician, dentist, or counselor if available.
